Spark Network – DARTNet Institute

SPARK Network founded by DARTNet Institute, unites practice‑based clinical research networks and healthcare organizations nationwide. It provides the infrastructure for extracting, standardizing, and analyzing EHR data to drive research, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

In 2024, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) joined forces with DARTNet to create the ADA–DIAD (ADA DARTNet Institute Alliance for Diabetes). Administered by DARTNet, ADA–DIAD leverages SPARK’s infrastructure, technology, and collaborative model to support large‑scale, practice‑based diabetes research. Together, the partnership enables the translation of comprehensive clinical data into evidence‑based diabetes care improvements.
