Primary Care & Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (HOMER Study)

In a Health Affairs Scholar publication, DARTNet colleagues examined MOUD delivery across 62 primary care practices in 25 states. Nearly half of participating patients had no prior treatment for OUD highlighting primary care as a crucial access point for evidence-based treatment. Practices and patients closely mirrored real-world U.S. primary care, reinforcing the scalability of this approach.
